Yesterday, on July 4th, 2025, Americans across the country celebrated the 249th anniversary of the United States of America. While patriots one and all, it is safe to say the hearts of those who honored this years holiday were not united in their view of just how we the people are doing. Of just how the people we the people elected are doing.
That was yesterday. The parades are done. The fireworks are over. The picnics and barbecues are a memory.
Today is July 5th, and we the people, who honored the day, have our work cut out for us.
We are the United States of America.
That is our work, every single one of us.
To somehow, someway, unite this beautiful but broken country.
Because if we don’t do it, it won’t get done.
